BIG BIG THANK U TO ROCKY FOR THIS WEEKEND
« on: August 27, 2007, 05:46:48 PM »
SORRY this goes on a bit but need to thank Rocky

well im back from RUN TO THE HILLS   we went up from derrie's to run to the hills
up m1 major traffic jams so i did what u all do when bored in que's with a box of 10 switchs just sat there waiting to be pLayed with so got in middle lane with the matching trailer on back did 3 wheels full up full drop and so on u know the thing
well got to run to the hills site got ball out for little one she kicked it under trailer A Frame where i saw a bit of dirt went to rubb it off only to find a nightmare
all the playing on the way up broke the A FRAME weld on one side 3/4 the way around     and as u can guess i wasnt mr happy or mr popular with mrs so tryed to find someone on site who might live local to repair it no real joy so then i rembered when i went to derrie's rocky said he would be working all weekend so thought if i could get RAC to pick trailer up get it to Rocky to see if he can repair  rang Rocky about 11pm fridaynight to see if he would he said yer no probs like the Gent he is so rang up RAC and they said trailer not covered foook
so rang Rocky back up to let him know the score where he said tell the mrs to stop been upset as he will travel the 60 mile to show tomorrow with everythink to fix it
on sataday he got there with his little one van loaded with the kit to fix it as soon as he got there he grinded and cleaned up the welds the ones that had split and the ones that didnt look split but when cleaned up there were more splits so he did them aswell  after cleaning them all up left it for the night and we used the show genny on sunday to weld it all up so we could get home

(and if it wasnt the run up that broke it i think i did it at Derries as we had trailer on back of van and van on full lift on rear with me and rocky standing/jumping on Aframe while derrie flicked the front to see if we could get the front up off the ground)

so major major thanks for this ROCKY me and Mel wil never forget this

yer top bloke heres some pics

this is van on show there kids were getting upset because they thought i was cruching the toy T4 it was the only way to show van was on 3 wheels due to the grass been long and van sinking in the grass

then found out after Rocky did all this so we could get home and show it they didnt have a catagory for it so they put the trailer on there sheet as good luggage area and the sheet doesnt cover mods just paint/ interior/
