pump not working

hi all just got back from the midlands meet, just gt home and ive broken somthing inside the pump (cce) its pumping but not moving the fluid , thought a first id got a leak so just topped it up but no leaks and still aint pumping up , so whos gud with pumps, and anyone no where i can get spares from thanks all ant

sounds like the spline key fella...... if you take the pump motor off, its the a dia-cast splined cylinder that joins the motor to the pump itself.

same thing happened to me on the back right pump i managed to get two spline keys off iain....... i used one to fix the pump and if i remember right, the other one might be still in the car!... try looking in the center console where the switch box is.....

if its there its a 10 min job mate

dude its fixed the bigest trouble is bin seeing it , there aint nothing wrong with the motors ive since found out, just a dump valve sticking open so when it pumped it just dumped,

it seams the switch for front pair sometimes sticks to dump, then when useing independent switch didnt pump no where so nothing moved.

its me being thick
