was an MR2.
the guy that owned it was a trained race engineer with lots of money!
hada one of body kit [FULL ground effects not just bits of plastic] that was built by a Ferrari bodyshop............ all hand beaten ali.
he had already installed accelerometors front and rear sides, so it could sense all lateral and fore/aaft movment. the sensors fed to a "black box" that gave out signals that were translated[in another box] to a signal we could use to drive proportional air valves.
these fed air to/or out of bags [struts all round]. the aim was to achieve flat handlinf at all times, cornering/accelerating/braking to maximize the ground effects.
It all worked rather well in the end  :)  and the car went to Florida [where he had a winter home  :roll: ] and spent 5 months a year on track days.
