leaking block

just woundering if any1 can help.i noticed the rear end on my low low really slowed down when went out to it the other day and hit the switch opened boot to notice a little leak out the top of the block around the threads.any 1 had the same prob?some expert advice would be cool

use PTFE tape ............ [CAREFULY and wound the right way round] if it is a USA block it will be tapered threads so wont seal on its own.
if iots a UK block it should have a Dowty seal.
Most things improve with age................

looks like its has white ptfe tape round the threads

strip it down.
clean the threads
re-tape it and replace.... dont overtighten but make it tight all the same!


i have assumed it is the pressure port ?
Most things improve with age................

Took it all apart an cleaned it.didnt bother putting ptfe tape on.seems fine.thanks for the help fatdaddy 8)
