ok, i recommended a mate try boston engineering to get some steel wheels banded (these were the people streetrules used) but apparently they don't do it anymore? they only did the wheels for his merc because its a showcar and won't do anymore because of insurance..
anyone know of anyone else in the UK who will band steel wheels for reasonable money? There is a company called widewheels or widerims or something who do them for VW's but they are about £350 for 4 wheels, plus £5o to polish the welds out, and another £50 to finish in etch primer!.. seems really expensive compared to the £25 a rim mat paid..
if anyone has any recommendations let me know; we have 3 sets of steelie's to band out between us..
