squeak.................
« on: August 20, 2008, 11:07:57 AM »

on the front of my CE.
drivers side had it [sounds like a rubber squeak and is associated with slow speed steering and up/down suspension, very loud at parking speed, hardly noticable at driving speeds]. It went away when i oiled the strut shaft thinking it was the strut top bush.
now got it on the pass side and its not the strut. swapped it for the one off the spare coupe, still the same.
oiled all the bushes I can find   , still there.
swapped the top mount today........... still there.
thinking now only bottom ball joint and steering idler left.

anyone had this before ?
