Been back a couple of weeks now chaps...and well,where do i start,3 weeks in the states in one word,unbefookinleivable!!
Get off the plane go to pick up my hire car in L.A ,where i ask the nice lady if my magnums ready,to which she replies we're all out do you fancy an upggrade.....um no!!,go check lot 6 see if theres anything you like the keys are in em,couldnt believe my luck..
Walk past the jeep patriots,pt cruisers ,chevy hhrs and some other rubbish to find these...
a year old mercury grand marquis,V8,bench seat in the front,column change,rwd,what more could i want,picked it in white over black as its pretty much exactly the same as a crown vic which the cops use marked and unmarked!!(also every bloody taxi cab)
but my cunning plan did work as nearly everything moves out of your way ,,or you catch brake lights all the time up ahead as peeps are switching their cruise off
me intimidated...hell no!! i had aviators on and a toothpick!
gotta be honest i really liked the idea of this modern,fuel injected newish,big body american car thingy,but more on that later!!
