apparently that did have a wrapped chassis, it was the chains that ripped it in half!!!

not necessarily, sometimes the chains are simply to limit the lock up in the rear for hopping, in this case id assume maybe the solenoids had stuck so the rear pump kept pulling til the car snapped? maybe?
