Forgot to say what about the Retro show in August as a Lordz meet?

sorry chops forgot that one is that the august bank holiday ?? if so im in ipswich  at the nats    ,,

No mate August 16th, Haynes motor museum, Yeovil nr Bristol http://www.retro-rides.org/gathering09/The bank holiday is on the 31st
This show IMO, has got exactly the right feel, no rave tent,no dancing girls or chav dick heads, just a bunch of petrol heads having fun...............and they have the use of the race track for RWYB

as kristoff mentioned that this is going to be a get togetherwhat are the plans and who's going ?

I'm hoping to be there and am trying to get sarah along as well, in fact if she does then Ros may come as well which will be a FIRST EVER  ~~ . I did get her to Avon Park once donkeys ago but it snowed ...............

going in the track car on the friday,for the duration of sat,to be in some of the unofficial.... ahem... timed laps! then lager permitting comin home to get my lo and be back before teatime on sat!!

so are we going as a club or just as individuals ?

If we go as a club (and tell the organisers) they'll reserve parking space so all show cars are together on the Sunday. :cool:
Also, we might get a better turn-out if it's official

Hmm, hadn't thought about going as a club. I'm not going to be in a low, but if you want me to speak to David and get club space, I'm more than happy to do so.

Original plan was to come up in the van towing the track car, but since it's quite a long way, we decided to make a week of it and visit some friends down that way too, so prob not towing. Rayo, if I don't get my track car down, gis a go in yours!

I'll just be in the 535 [still completely standard................ the only time i've every kept a car standard since I started driving, tbh it doesnt need changing ]
