Ah yes, we know a lot about that car!
Rayo bought it off an old dude in Cardiff who has used it for many years as his commuter to London. I bought it from Rayo in 2003 with 290,000 miles on the clock, did another 30,000 miles in it (on LPG), and fitted hydros to the front.

When I sold it (sans LPG), it has 320,000 miles on the clock. It was still a very good car, but I had a lorry damage the front in the car park where I work.

I sold it to my mate who owns a body shop who rebuilt it, and sold it to a friend up here in Bungay looking all splendid again.
Chewy then bought it from him after a couple of years with the intention of using it as a donor for his other w123 coupe, but realised the car was far too good to break, so sold it to his mate (splitpin on here?) who did all the paint and rear arches. He also fitted juice to the back and put some decent pumps in it.
Tarun then bought it (or rather swapped it for his w126 on bags), which is why it is now down south.
Pity to hear it is sat with a broken window.
It has been a good car for many people, and should probably still be now. If it is cheap, get it! That engine will go on for ever - I put a new gearbox in it, so that should be fine too.
Does that help?
