I've been thinking the same, it's always the toys that have to go first

In a couple of weeks, I'll be scrapping my last Merc (Rayo's old matt black S)  :(.

First time in years I won't have a big Benz.

Gutted, but needs must. Life is just too expensive in this country now.

It is all a shame. I too will be completely Merc-less for the first time in 5 years soon. Both 123s sold to a bloke in Holland. Now just the w124 250D turbo saloon to go.

We need to be strong and continue with what toys are left though. Chris still has the Mazda and kidnapper van. I have the 64 to keep chipping away at (!) and I hope FD has something to play with? Iain, are you still too busy to do the system arrangement on my Impala? I will keep asking, you know that don't you. Am prepared to even put a plaque under the bootlid for your 'one last job'
