Reinforcing A Uni Body

Anyone ever done one ?

Reason im asking thinking of making myself a small hopper! nothing hugeee! ill be happy with it hopping 10" !

Where do i need to reienforce ??

another silly questions for a little small euro hatchback what frame would be small enough .... cause most fo the yanks are like 60000 million foot long compared to a little hatch?

what im trying to say is do they make a small framed car??

please just techincal adivce no witty comments

No, not if you are looking to swap the chassi from a differnt car to yours..........

For a 10" chipper you should get away with
Front turret reinforcing over as much area of the inner wing as possible + cross brace.
Rear turret cross brace + plating
Box section inside the sills tied into both front and rear reinforcing above.
Fiberglass layer over footwell/firewall area.
Replacement of all bushes with Poly.

Most things improve with age................

Instead of thinkings how can you brace the monocoque chassis,

You need to build a frame to which the shell and suspension is hung off.
Exactly how its done in Motorsport.

you are correct that a fully braced and linked roll frame is the ultimate way to brace a monocoque but I suspect that is beyond the requirements of this build.
Most things improve with age................
