3 Wheeling A Uni Body
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:46:04 PM »
know what your thinking !! but bare with me !!

today i was given a rear axle that would fit My car  and it got me thinking.... the sole reason i cant proper 3 wheel the ibiza is because of the fixed rear axle on the rear...

Sooooooooo i was thinking...... if i could find a way or make a way to split the rear axle in half that would give me indipendant rear suspension which in a nut shell would give me that 3 wheel look

i know i woouldnt be able to drive on 3 as its a FWD car

would the body need strenghtenin anywhere?? im thinking it wouldnt... am i right??

heres what i have in mind ..

what do you think..

there are other reasons............

too much weight at the front
not enough suspension travel at the front
too short a wheelbase
Most things improve with age................
