Ive been asked to lookin into making a kit for a renault traffic?

thought id ask on here first?? will hydraulics cope with a van of that sizee??? or is bags his only option

I can't see size/ weight being an issue the fact its a renault is issue enough!! :)

So that's McPh front and torsion bar rear........................ why would anyone pick that :(
best advice you can give is to start with another vehicle.


failing that it needs someone with  a reasonable amount of experience to specify and fit a system, you can't play around with a 2 ton van that could be carrying loads on public roads  without knowing what you are doing.

current ones are torsion. from '08 it was coils. maybe had leaves earlier ?

either way the struts are your main hurdle. you definitely want to retain shocks on something that size. you could look at keeping the OEM strut without coils and mounting a ram inboard if there is room.
