Do you have any pics chewy?

i doubt 22's would fit without some serious body mods, but could be interested...

I remember that jag, was it a green flip paint? did look really wicked though.

Jag PCD is 120.6, I've seen on the jaguar forum a chap who has fitted bmw e39 wheels to an xj - beemer pcd being 120mm with no probs.

This is also the same PCD as range rovers, i've seen some 22" wheels for £1100 with tires.

Anyone care to guess what might be involved in making them fit? -

I'm not a super mechanic at all i'm afraid, I just like cars :)

this is what I came up with earlier...

Tire size calculations etc!

Existing rims - 18" penta - 245/45/18 = overall tire diameter of 678mm

prospective rims - 20" lensos - 255/35/20 = overall tire diameter of 686mm

prospective 22" rims - 285/35/22 = overall tire diameter of 758mm

                       285/25/22 = overall tire diameter of 701mm

I'm positive arches would need rolling?

Not sure what else may need doing...

Thanks though chewy and others for you're on going help :)

P.S had a look at your rims chewy, don't think they're the style for me, but I'm sure you'll shift them quickly enough at that price :)

Found a source for some Player wires on ebay... 20" run £265 a wheel,

I asked about the larger wires loosing pressure, and they said these wheels are a two piece construction so the spokes do not enter the rim?

Does that sound right?

cheers guys

If your still on a tight budget and can find a second hand rusty set a quick shot blast and powder and they end up like this;

The bonus is they wont rust in seconds!
Not everyones choice but they are less hassle. ;)

That green flip Jag on 22s was built/owned by Warrior Motorsport. I think the guy is called Simon. It was a nice car. Not a cool looking as my/Chewy's black XJ40, but nevertheless radical.

thanks for all your help and advice guys, I went with some 20 inch callistos off the new xjr's in the end , wanted the nevis wheels from an xfr really but none came up for my budget. Going to look into getting some lowering springs made up next :)

I do know of a set of brand new front laced 18' wires on gold, still boxed, £450, and yes they can be trouble if you don't keep on top of them, anything that comes out of Taiwan looks great for 5 mins and does not function like it should, that's just the far east for you..
