FatDaddy.....I need help desperately
« on: November 01, 2006, 03:16:25 PM »
Hi all. have previously been on here to learn about my hydraulics. Now I am at my wits end. Need a specialist to fix the damn car as soon as possible. It is leaking somewhere, having to keep topping up the fluid every few weeks. The car is dropping on its own and now the bodywork is taking the toll of the roads ... Had it set just right, but the damn thing has dropped right down again for the 5th time. Its the hyundai coupe which was originally from Swindon, and was fitted by Fat Daddy himself i was told...  Where can i bring my car to so that it can be sorted out once and for all...  ?  As soon as possible as is only transport i have...  :(

Not far from south wales?

Theres a few on ere who I'm sure would make the trip for fuel and a couple of stellas.

If its just a leek then I'm sure once identified could be sorted pretty quickly and without mutch pain without going to a shop..

Good luck :D

Were on the coupe does the pudle of oil form??

Boot ?
Around a wheel?
Under the pumps?

I honestly couldnt tell you where the damn stuff is going...was a leak out of a pipe on top at one point but that stopped... now i just dont know..  a   I'm sitting about 2 inches from the floor and my bodykit is taking a right battering... i will pay for anyone to fix it for me... didnt know if max hydraulics was still about or not, cos wud take to them to fix even tho its a fair journey .... distance no problem, unless other end of country...    It started with the rear dropping on its own  but has advanced to the whole car dropping... not good when driving about...  i really do not wanna get my hands into this one... expert help is whats needed.. can learn from them first hand then thru observation...

yes it is me Air one... tho a tad blonder now....

i just wanna drive her and be happy....

i'm not in a position to help manually any more.........
sounds like the car is dropping rathe than is leaking?

if I remember from last time you where here it was/sounded like a dump or check problem allowing ends to dropon their own?

assuming the system has not been reassembled worng in the meantime then i would be fairly sure from what you've said that you have dirt in the system which is holding checks open or damaging dump seals, both of which are minor repairs [even if major pains for you!]

you are fairly near a few of the guys on here

if its losing fluid there has to be...it don't just evaporate. Unless the car was topped up on full lift? Thenpossibly overpressurising a join somewhere? But again...wherer has the fluid gone?
