no harder to do than any other BUT when driving the steering geometry alters A LOT with height.drive at the right height and you'll be OK but slightly either side and its pants. actually alter height while moving and you'll be all over the road

Supose you could rig up some level sencers for your cruise hight.

You'd have to be well disaplined on the street though!!........... 8)

Well, when I started researching hydraulics, I found this page was very helpful - http://www.layitlow.com/tech.shtml

Also, this site helped out loads too...

http://www.eternalrollerz.com/TechArticles/techpage.htm

Probably the most common set ups are either 2 pumps, so you can pump a side up at a time... for instance EITHER side to side (like my Honda)... OR front and back (like BillyBollockChops' 7 series).  Or 4 pumps, so you can raise each corner individually (like Voicy's 123 Merc and that E30 on the vid).

Regardless of your choice of pumps, you're better off having a dump for each corner, so you can drop them individually.

The accumilators are to do with the ride.  The Honda has got an accumilator for each ram, so that when I turn the solenoids off allowing fluid to enter the accumilators, instead of just the tyres providing the complete suspension, the nitrogeon filled bladders in the accumilators take up the ride instead.  They're probably better than when Honda had it, but it does wallow about a bit on corners.  That probably has something to do with the ARB (anti roll bar) being removed recently, so I can pop a rear wheel up!

With all this in mind, check out those links and see what you can learn.  It's great fun!
