how much does it cost to recharge accumulators and can it be done in situ or do they need removing?

usually off the car cos the recharge hose isnt very long.
around £20

most places will tell you
" the bladder will have gone mate, you'll need a new one"

They may be right of course but 9 times out of 10 if you have just let too much out, then that is your reply.
get them charged to 40 bar. that will be too much so you can adjust down from there in the normal way.
if you want o go for not adjusting them yourself [not the best way] try around 15 bar BUT it will be at best a compromise ride.
